Out purple Teletubby has an obsession with shoes. Anyone’s shoes. Particularly everyone else’s shoes. This morning she found Reuben’s Crocs which seem to fit nicely over her pjs…! Just another Sunday morning at the Harvey Circus really!

Monday was Owen’s school EKKA holiday, so with a free day in hand, Nana thought it would be a great opportunity for her and I to take the Harvey Three on an outing to the Workshops Rail Museum in North Ipswich.  Never one to knock back an excuse to stay away from all the housework [...]

Megamind hired from Bigpond Movies (no more having to remember to return that pesky DVD to the video store!), popcorn popped (thanks to my new fave way to pop it!), kids all cozied up and ready to watch. A pretty fun Saturday night spent at home for the Harvey Five :)

Owen’s (and Reuben’s!) homework assignment for this week was:  Turtles:  Create a turtle out of construction paper – cardboard boxes, scrap paper, paint etc. After talking him down from his grand plans that invloved the biggest boxes he could get his hands on, and copious amounts of greent paint, we all thought a paper mache turtle [...]

And???? Well after waiting all day, getting my stuff done and having to endure the delicious smells wafting from the slow cooker all afternoon, it was delicious!!!  I am definitely keeping this one in my favourites.  It was so simple to put together and was so tasty, 6 hours later when we finally got to eat it.  [...]

This is where you will find Ella at around 7am most mornings. Yep, that’s our very cheeky little girl cleaning her teeth after she has had her daily dose of cotton buds. That is, she likes to sprinkle the bathroom floor with them.  I’m sure it will catch on and everyone will be doing it… [...]
