She’s 4 weeks old today…

Not to wear…

But too cute not to share!
These little booties (or beauties!) were on top of a present from Auntie Jode, Uncle Mick and Cooper.  They are made of paper and could almost fit Ella’s rather long (but still little) feet!

Gotta love a sleeping baby!

Some picture randomness from the last week or so

Ella Rose!

After a very long 40 weeks, we finally got to meet Ella on the 1st February!

The stats on Ella:

born at 9:55pm.
weight: 7lb 10oz, or 3465 grams
length: 52cm
head circumference: 35cm

With two boys that made their way into the world very quickly, we were pretty much on standby, suitcase packed and in the car at all times [...]

Cooper’s 1st Birthday Party!

Today we spent the morning down at the Sandgate Kidspace, right near the pier, celebrating Cooper’s first birthday, which happens to be tomorrow.  I can’t believe he’s only been around for a year – it seems as though he has always been here!  It was a rainy, windy morning but the kids still had a [...]

You have to climb before you can walk

The usual path is something like this: Crawl, Walk, Stand, Climb
Owen was more: Walk, Stand, Crawl, Climb

Yesterday we caught him climbing the ladder for the slide on our swings.  Not just trying mind you, but already at the top.  We thought it might [...]

Nearly there! Almost! Sort Of!

Two metres Reuben walked all on his own today.
TWO WHOLE METRES!!!!
This is monumental for us (well, mainly Reuben, I guess!) considering we have, at 14 months of age, put walking into that “too hard/can’t be bothered” box.
We were thinking that shoes were never going to be needed for this kid.
That his poor knees were always [...]

Reuben and Cooper

These are our Two Little Old Men…
Masters Harvey and Craven.
More commonly referred to as, REUBEN!!!!!  and COOPER!!!!!

They are both always very, very busy don’t you know, getting into anything and everything they can get their little hands on!  Just check out the colour of their feet.  Been busy, you see.  That, together with the expressions [...]

Putting in the hard yards

Nana decided to mow the side patch of grass with the push mower this afternoon, and of course, Owen had to get in on the action as well… First practicing with his play mower, getting the technique right, and then having a go at the real thing!
