If you can’t find Reuben, he will undoubtedly be pulling apart a cupboard or two. Plastic cups are the favourite of the moment, but the good old (and predictable) Tupperware cupboard doesn’t get left out, with it’s own emptying happening at least every couple of days… Motivation to keep the kitchen floor clean? I think so!
Oh, and don’t ask me what’s with the string of beads… They never made it onto our Christmas tree about 4 years ago – Owen claimed them – and they have brought both boys hours of entertainment! See, kids really don’t need all the toys that they are bombarded with (ours, especially). The simplest things, and the objects that usually aren’t originally purposed as toys, are the things that have the longest play-life in our house (excluding books of course)!
