We’ve always had our blog set as our home page so we can quickly link through to everyone else’s blogs to see what’s news. This is great, but takes a few minutes to open everything in a new tab, just to find that there hasn’t been a new post.
So I found a great plugin to show how long it’s been since a post and what the last post was. You can even click on the time since last post to see an excerpt of the last four posts. You might consider it lazy but for me it’s such a timesaver and who really wants to spend all night on the computer after a full day on it.
Have you tried Google Reader? You can add all the RSS feeds for your favourite websites into it and then it shows you all the content whenever someone updates. Kind-of like e-mail for websites. It’s awesome!
