Missing that girl that came on the plane. Already!
It took Owen almost 5 days to call Lauren her actual name consistently. Before that it was any, or a combination of the following:
- That girl
- Her
- She
- The lady, you know her name, don’t you?
- The girl that came on the plane
- That girl in Nana’s room (not really Nana’s room, just the spare one!)
- That girl who’s staying with us…
It was amusing for the most part, but we were all quite happy when he finally tired of the game and decided to use Lauren’s name, and not all of the above!
Anyway, Lauren’s punishment holiday with us came to and end yesterday afternoon. We all miss her already! Owen told me he missed her before we even got out of the airport…

That almost made me cry! I want to come back right now! I miss it so much, the dry, no rain weather, little Owen and Reuben, my favourite Scrabble partner and very cool muso cousin :P Plus much much more! I’ll look in to doing my placcement there, so it’s more justified, plus I only have to do a few hours a day for this one! Woot!
