Vege update

It’s been a very long time since I’ve updated from the vege patch.  Here’s some proof that it still exists, we are eating from it and it’s growing well (without any help what so ever from me at the moment!).

The cherry tomatoes should be ready to pick very soon.

Gardening in the mid morning, Reuben style.  Look familiar Carls?

Owen showing me the cucumber.  More sun is needed for these little guys to grow!

The beans have been delicious, crisp and very good raw.

Most of them don’t make it into the kitchen :)

I’m very jealous of your gardening abilities! Our tomato and capsicum plant somehow managed to survive the frost, but they haven’t grown much at all. And I’ve tried planting some new bean seeds, lets see if they sprout!

Thanks Sharon! I ask Mum and Dad a lot of questions… They usually have an answer or at the least, an idea for me :o)
At the moment I’m trying to source some liquid potash to boost our yield. That was a Dad direction. Apparently our local Bunnings’ don’t stock it (I’ve tried two so far).
When in doubt, email Morrie or Alison! They’ll help you out if they can :o)
I’m trying capsicum for the second time so we’ll see if seedlings go better than the seeds from the first try.
