It’s been a very domestic weekend in the Harvey household.
Yesterday we vacuumed and generally cleaned the house before heading over to the movies to see Wall-E. While Owen loved it we thought it was one of the weaker kids movies of the last few years as there was very little humour, junior or senior and seemed to be based mainly around cute characters and their noises. So probably only a 4/10 from me.
After getting home I managed to find a way to get a phone line into another room without running an extension along the floor. I won’t give details but did involve turning the power off for a little while.
Today was spent mainly outdoors with the usual mowing, whipper snippering, washing cars and weeding. Yes, I did weeding. Maybe I’m showing my age…
A trip to the air conditioned cinemas when you are 35 weeks pregnant and suffering 35 degree temperatures sounds like a smart move to me! :-)
I was thinking of taking Amelie to see Wall-E for her birthday, but maybe not now, given your review…
