Book Hunting

This morning I was wasting time at our local shopping centre.

As I was walking past, Borders caught my eye and drew me in.  What better way to spend some of that time than stopping by Gloria Jean’s and then browsing the lovely, lovely books that Borders have to offer :o)

And, of course I couldn’t leave without a purchase.  This time I found a book that I remember being read to me, most likely in our primary school library or by who ever was on Play School back then.  Marc Owen is always in need of something new to read, and what a better fit than (yet another) story about a machine…!

Mim borrowed a book from the local library called “Room on the Broom” which is a really lovely rhyming kid’s book. Well worth the read if your local library has it.

Sharon – oh cool, I’ll try and find that one the next time we go.

Jode – Owen and I just sat down and read it together, it was longer than I remembered but that may have been because I kept getting interrupted with questions from the Boy :o)

Denise – oh that is cool. I’ve got a few special books from when I was little, but I think we passed most of them along to younger family and friends to enjoy.
