What I see

A bump that is terribly active all night long.

A bump that keeps giving me heartburn, no matter how I sit, stand or lie down.

A bump that is noisy, making lots of gurgling and swooshy type sounds down there.

A bump that I sometimes forget about until I want to squeeze through a smallish space.

A bump that makes me forget lots of things.

A bump that makes me too tired and uncomfortable to play with Owen a lot of the time.

A bump that still doesn’t have a room to call its own – yet.

A bump that Owen thinks will be a baby girl and MUST have a dinosaur of her very own.

And this bump that will be a girl in Owen’s eyes is going to sleep with him, in his big bed,

until it isn’t a baby anymore.

A bump that can’t get here soon enough for me.

How much longer?

Fantastagirl – I think you may be right there :) Only 8 weeks to go. Not that long really, in the big scheme of things, but it sure feels like a long time away that the moment!

Oh I love this shot! It immediately brought back the feeling of my pregnancies! I could remember exactly what it feels like to put my hand on my stomach… the EXACT feeling.

Awesome. Thank You!

Meritt – Glad to have helped you relive those memories! This one isn’t sticking out the front nearly as far as Owen (or the Tim Tam, as he was referred to until his birth) ever did. I haven’t put on too many kilos this time round so I’m hoping that this baby is just sitting differently and it’s not all fat for me to get rid of after the birth :)
