It’s like waiting for Santa

Meegan and Rob are just about to get on their plane (2 hours early, thank you very much Virgin Blue!!) to come visit us Harbey’s (as Owen pronounces it) and I CAN’T WAIT!! We have all been counting down the sleeps until the MacLor’s finally get here, and today is the day :o)

Owen and I are off to bravely drive where we haven’t driven before, and pick them up from the Plane Station (air port) in an hour.  Since Marc’s on the Gold Coast for a conference, he won’t get much time to spend with our guests, but that just means MORE TIME FOR ME, and Owen too, but really MORE TIME FOR ME!!!!

It will be so very nice to have our old neighbours staying with us for a few days.  I really miss seeing them every day, without fail, unless someone was away or very very sick (most of the time that didn’t matter anyway).

Anyway, since I’m here alone with the Boy Who Is In The Fowlest Mood I had to tell someone why I can’t wipe the smile off my face this afternoon :o)

Hi Rob and Meegs. Did they arrive at 4.30pm then instead of 6.30pm?

Nope! Their earlier flight was delayed and they ended up getting in only 15 mins before the original plan!!! No matter, they are here now and they aren’t allowed to leave. I’m not taking them to the plane station!

They have to be out of their bed by 5th August or it’s going to be a bit cosy with Morrie and I in there as well.

What’s this, Brisbane convention in Sydney on the weekend of the 4/5th August?? I’m going to Michelle’s birthday bash on the 4th, and Mum and Dad are driving down for it as well. Might have to organise a brunch on the Sunday morning???
