The Three Sisters

We got to do some sight seeing today in the Blue Mountains.  These are just a couple from today.  Meegs was expecting more from The Three Sisters, much like me when I saw them last year.  O just wanted to find a park to play in, so we didn’t get a chance to explore too much.  It really was a beautiful day up there though and Meegs found quite a few places that she wants to take guests to when they are down.  The only down side was a serious accident that happened only minutes before we drove past on the way up.  Over five hours later the road was still closed on the way down, turning what would normally be around one and a half hours into closer to two and a half.  Hopefully it wasn’t as serious as it looked.

Hi Guys, Nice pickies – so pretty!! Tom took me to the see the sisters when we were last down in Sydney, only got to see them for 5 minutes as a big black cloud came over and rained for 2 days. It was so so cold and I hate the cold. Oh well can’t complain at least I saw them for 5 minutes. Love Jane xxx

yeah, they actually didnt blow me away as much as i thought either, but there was HEAPS of tourists(us included, i guess, but mainly non-english speaking) and it was lost with all the hoopla and photo taking around me – if they didnt have the hype, and i was just bushwalking, and stumbled across them in a clearing – it’d have heaps more of an impact, but thems the breaks, i guess…… still nice though. What did ya think of Katoomba?

I agree Jode. We drove through Katoomba and that was about it – for this Sunday drive. I can’t wait to go back up there for another look around.
