Why blog about our new LG washer/dryer? Well our old washing machine could take you for a walk while it was finishing off its spin cycle. It would only ever wash on the woollens cycle. And it made a whole lot of noise. So we decided it was time to get a new machine, and a dryer this time too.
And what a great idea to combine the two! Now, if I am being lazy and know that I won’t want to hang out the washing when it’s done, I can set it to wash then dry without having to go back and set the dryer once the wash cycle is finished. It has a child lock so curious little boys can’t open the door and climb inside or turn things on/off that they shouldn’t. We are doing a little bit more to help the environment – it’s about 60% more water and energy efficient than a top loader and a normal dryer. And it really does wash our clothes (especially Owen’s) better than our old washing machine.
In short, so far our new appliance is wonderful! I can’t believe we waited so long to replace the old machine :)
But just wait until I can show you the next new toy that should be arriving Friday!!!

I had one of those once. Pain in the butt but I am sure with technological (wow big word) advances its the bomb. Have fun and don’t get too lazy with it.
