Sister sitting
Ok, so it never rains, it pours…
Firstly, Mum has her hip replaced.
Dad then has a couple of falls and basically can’t move for nearly a week. Jo and I ended up sleeping over a few nights so we knew he was ok as the drugs he was taking were pretty full on.
Now Jo has caught some bug that leaves her not being able to eat and therefore can’t take her insulin. So, I’m looking after my little sister today. The doctor told her that she shouldn’t be left on her own, just in case… and Mick really needed to go to work at least for the morning.
I’m kinda glad we live on the South side at the moment! Touch wood, Marc Owen and I are all ok at least while everyone else is sick – and then they can come and look after us :)

Goodness me! Well, bad luck comes in threes doesn’t it? So that should be the end of it. Perhaps the internet resolution is the sign of good luck coming your way. :-)
I think they’re all just coming up with excuses not to take care of your Mum, Meegs… If a hip replacement doesn’t guarantee everyone’s undevoted attention, what does? ;-)
Seriously though, hope everyone’s on the mend soon.
It wasn’t supposed to be like that. Everyone was supposed to look after me, but typically I can’t do anything by myself and Jodie and your father had to join me.
Poor everyone! But glad that the Harvey’s are escaping thus far. Maybe the “Carter” name is unlucky? :-)
Me too Benny – I’m getting pretty worn out!
That’s no good guys! I hope some good luck comes your family way very soon.
