Pictures tell a thousand words, right? Well here is a series from the Easter weekend. We got up to a few different things and caught up with a lot a friends and family in our 4 days off.
Good Friday
Easter Saturday (and my birthday!)
As the subject heading suggests, yes, it was my 27th birthday on Saturday. We celebrated with a very early wake up call from Owen and a shoe shopping trip. I got a new pair of Asics which hopefully will do me for quite a while – they aren’t exactly budget friendly! But I wanted quality, so had to pay the price I guess…
Saturday afternoon was afternoon tea with my Mum and Dad and Jo and Mick followed by dinner with Jo, Mick, Louise, Owen and Marc at our newly established Chinese/Thai/Malaisian resturant. It was a great meal, and cheap too!

Easter Sunday
Invloved staying home for the day with some of the morning spent lazing round our house with Louise before she had to leave for Nana’s again. We had planned to have at least two days mostly on our own and at home to get stuff done around here while we had the opportunity.
Here’s where I found Owen after it had been too quiet for a while – I guess you just can’t resist the pull of the Dummy :)
Easter Monday
The plan for Monday was to meet up with Nic and Shane and Jo and Mick to have a picnic at Mount Tambourine. Since Nic hasn’t been feeling well, we cancelled and caught up with them at their home for lunch and a catch up. On the way back down the coast we stopped in for a brief visit with the Johnsen’s, which was just lovely. It’s been a week since I’d seen Amelie and Cath – Am has grown a heap in such a short time! It was cute watching the babies interact with each other. Owen even managed to give Amelie a “kiss” on her forehead without being too rough :) Cath caught some pictures, so I’ll have to grab some off her and share with you all.

A belated Happy Birthday Meegs! Apologies for the tardiness, but hopefully our card arrived on time – and your pressie is packed in the suitcase with us :-)
xoxo
