How easy it is to fill in a week…

It’s been a while since my last post. We have been busy, but with ordinary events. Here are the notable ones:

  • Marc got a new surround sound system (He can tell you all about it. All I know is that we have several large Magnat speakers around our TV now and I can turn the sound up very loud!)
  • We bought a lounge suite – gets delivered on Wednesday. I can’t believe I’ve been so patient!
  • We tried to buy an air conditioner for Owen’s room but with no success :(
  • There have been several post-Christmas-sales shopping trips with various family members and friends where we picked up a few bargains along the way
  • Beat the heat for a little while and saw Fun with Dick and Jane – if you’ve been looking for a reason to have a good laugh, go and see it!
  • Caught up with Nic and Shane

New Years Eve 2005

NYE was a non event for us. We had spent the day doing some hard core spending and ended up flaked out on the couch listening to a few CD’s! Some families had purchased firecrackers (from where, I don’t know!) so we had our own little show to watch at home.

Unfortunately we all are!
Gone are the days when we would be out til nearly dawn – now it’s more like a nice dinner out or a BBQ in with close friends and good food!
