From beach to bush

In the spirit of New Experiences Jodie, Mick and I took Owen up to Mount Glorious on Tuesday for a scrumptious morning tea and a short trek through the sub-tropical rainforest.

He had lots of fun watching us delight in our leisurely morning tea while soaking up the view of the mountains for a while. We then moved on to the walking track nearby to inhale the forest scents and experience the light and shade that a rainforest almost always offers, to capture the imagination.

Wow – that looks gorgeous! I am itching to get out of the house after seeing that. But Amelie is asleep and Grant is painting so I don’t think it will happen :-(

Next time we organise a good ‘outing’ I’ll fill you in on the details so you and Amelie can come too!
